Applications

XPS foam is used in a wide variety of residential and commercial applications. The insulation is easy to install and maintain. There are several types of XPS insulation board, insulating sheathing and fanfold siding underlayments that can be installed directly over existing siding. These products offer the following features and benefits:

  • Rigid—offers a flat, level surface for new siding
  • High R-value (thermal resistance)—saves energy and dollars
  • Air resistance—prevents draftiness in rooms, maintains better temperature control and saves dollars on heating bills
  • Moisture resistance—will not absorb water, preventing costly damage and mildew due to wet weather
  • Lightweight, easy to handle
  • Durable—less breakage at the job site saves time and money
  • Energy Star® qualified and manufactured by dependable, reputable companies
